This has been described as “Easy to make – hard to kill” and with good reason. A traditional terrarium is a closed glass container containing plants like a miniature greenhouse. The “hard to kill” part is because after the initial watering the plants in the closed terrarium need no further attention and grow happily on their own. You can use all sorts of glass containers and many designs are not fully sealed, but still are known as terrariums.
