Following my post about how to persuade an orchid to rebloom Dee posted a comment asking how deep the orchid should be planted when repotting. I thought that the best way of answering this was to post a video showing exactly how it should be done. This video is presented by Ana Louise a student at the Chicago Botanic Garden. I found her explanation of the importance of cleaning the roots very helpful. Her demonstration includes the correct potting medium to use and, of course, how deep to plant the orchid.
