MAKE SPRING A WOW WITH THESE PERENNIALS

After a long cold dark winter everyone is looking forward to Spring so it important for the garden to have plants that bloom early to greet the new season. Perennial plants bloom every year and so early flowering varieties are just what you need to provide some color at the onset of Spring. I found an article on the Perennial Resource website which is all about perennials for Spring and includes lists of plants that bloom at this time.

For those of us who live in parts of the country that experience long, cold, snowy winters, there’s nothing quite like the incredible sense of hope that spring flowers bring. The simple act of new growth breaking through the cold, hard ground renews one’s faith that good things are coming soon, and that our gardens will soon be filled with color and fragrance. Whether you’re planning a brand new garden or just looking to liven up your existing space, be sure to plan on including at least a few spring blooming perennials. You will be so glad you did come spring!
