This is a simple DIY project that will make an interesting contrast to the conventional holiday centerpiece. Apart from this new look there is the added advantage that with a little care the succulents can last for several months. The basic framework for the tree is a topiary cone made of sphagnum moss and you will also need floral pins to fix the succulents to the cone. Nearly any type of succulents can be used although jade and sedum are the ones used in this demonstration.
