7 STEPS TO A NEW KITCHEN GARDEN

Growing your own vegetables has many practical benefits as well as being an enjoyable and satisfying hobby. There is nothing fresher than a tomato which you have picked from the plant. If you are concerned about food miles as many of us are, then there is nothing closer than a short walk down your garden path. When you buy vegetables from the store you do not know which pesticides and chemicals have been used in their production, but when you grow your own you have total control. And you do not need a large area to be able to enjoy home grown crops. You can even make do with a few containers.
If you are starting from scratch here is a blueprint which walks you through the seven steps involved in creating a new kitchen garden. These are described in an article by Jonathan Leger which he has written specially for us. Go to the next page to read his article.
