15 PREPOSTEROUS PLANTERS FROM RECYCLED JUNK

The growing trend of taking old items of furniture and other household equipment and stuffing them with plants continues apace. Using everything from a rusty vehicle wheel, an ugly sink and a decrepit bicycle this collection is not the best I have seen, but I have to admit that I do like the chest of drawers shown above. I came across this list on the Garden Lovers website. Take a look and see what you think.

Any gardening enthusiast will tell you that not everything in the garden is going to be pretty. That?s just a part of the nature of gardening!
In fact, sometimes additions to a garden can be the complete opposite of pretty and delicate, it all depends on what kind of tone you want to set for your garden space.
There?s nothing wrong with using all new decorations and planters bought from a store, and it is a blessing if you can afford it! But for those of us who need to cut costs wherever possible, using recycled materials in the garden can be a cost effective, and great way to set the tone for a garden.
In many of these examples you will see old, rusty, and decaying materials. Part of the beauty of using recycled materials is that they have years of past use, and when an object like that is incorporated with nature, it never fails to be a unique and impressive creation.
