Spring has officially arrived, but the weather has not necessarily caught up so anything that can add a sunny glow to the garden is most welcome. This is a list of fifteen yellow flowers that bloom in spring and early summer which will provide a splash of gold to remind us of the summer sunshine to come. I came across this list in an article by Annie Thornton which comes from the Houzz website.

Yellow flowers are as close as you?ll get to capturing sunlight in the garden, as their petals glow in a sea of greens, purples, pinks or reds. Look to any of these 15 yellow-flowering great design plants to add that ray of sunshine to your garden. Though most of these flowers bloom in spring and summer in sunny gardens, some prefer the shadier edges of the garden.

Carolina Jessamine
