Now that we are nearly through September we are into Fall and it’s time to perk up those containers that have finished their summer show. Here are ten fantastic ideas to inspire you and if that’s not enough there are ten more to drool over. I found these twenty fabulous fall container garden ideas in an article on the Garden Lovers Club website.
Fall is my favorite time of year. Apples, pumpkins, and multi-colored leaves can all be incorporated into your garden d?cor. Orange is a major color consideration for planters on my doorstep because gourds and other festive decorations will be arranged around the planters. This gallery features a lot of planter ideas that will look great this fall.
I absolutely love the seventh option on this list. It features a bright orange pumpkin that is being used as the actual planter, and the flowers growing inside have gorgeous orange and yellow blooms that are perfect for the Halloween and fall season.
If you are looking for a larger arrangement, then the fifth option is perfect for a large garden. It is designed using the base of a fountain, but any statue or garden bench that you have in your garden will look lovely with this style. Play with the colors red, orange, and yellow to find flowers, pumpkins, and gourds that work well together. The cattails in this idea are not something that I would typically use in my garden, but they are placed in the perfect location to tie everything together perfectly.
The fourth idea on the list is also a great one. Using a large basket as a planter is the perfect idea to incorporate fall d?cor into your garden. In addition, if the frost comes before you are prepared for it, you can easily pick the basket up and bring the whole design indoors without needing to dismantle it. The only thing I would do differently with this idea is to add more color. I absolutely love deep reds and dark oranges in my plants this time of year.1.Rustic Fall Foliage

The first thing that you notice in this idea is the bright orange pumpkin that is positioned right in the front center of the planter, which makes it a perfect idea for the month of October. The second item that catches my eye is the planter itself. It features a beautiful bowl-like shape that looks slightly discolored from age.2. Slate Grey Planters

The planters in this image are a beautiful slate grey. The two side ones feature lush green plants that lay over the top of the planter, and the middle one is full of purple pansies that are in full bloom. The textured design on the middle container is gorgeous as well.
